The only way I am able to get a nice sketchy loose style to my drawings is if they are a fairly large scale. I feel like the movement of my hand is more fluid when I have more room to roam. When you have a larger surface area to draw on you are also able to put in more details if you wish. To create these illustrations I used charcoal, markers, and graphite.
